University!

Hi there,

I leave tomorrow for university - moving in, getting a new computer, meeting toooons of people, getting used to the US, and basically having a chock-a-block full schedule. I'm banning myself from dA for the time being, but I hope things will get up and running soon enough (do things ever calm down at uni?).

It's so hard saying goodbye to France though.

I'm looking forward to it all. I'm sorry that I won't be able to answer messages, or look at fabulous art or journals. As soon as I get into the rhythm I'll hopefully find time to get back to you guys. I'll be doing more traditional art at university, as well as work on my photography.

In the meantime, I wish you the best, I'll try to answer the messages I can.

Wish me luck on managing everything!

_{and now i'm back. backlog of messages of 111 (funny, eh?), so bear with me. i still have lots of artist pages to visit from the devmeet in paris, and i'm going to get down to all the translating that needs to be done for =Bloc-Notes!

oh, and i've given up on capitals. something about them offends me.

_{I will be away for 5 days. I have no idea whether I'll have access to internet, so no dA during that time! I've cleaned out my message center, so hopefully I won't be overloaded when I get back.

_{I'm now a "Premium Member" once more! I did miss all the bells and whistles.

First of all, a photo I suggested was chosen to be a DD! I'm so thrilled for *thestargazer23, so go visit the image in question and the whole of his gallery.

With no further ado, here are a couple of finds from recent weeks that I've been dying to share with the community. Do visit the rest of these artists' galleries!

I went to the Paris devMEET this afternoon (for more info, or to get involved, see *DeviantMEET-Paris), back in the Louvre again, although we soon went to sit on one of the lawns in the Tuilerie gardens. It was great meet new deviants, and see some familiar faces from the World Tour devMEET - all in all, there were about 35+ deviants. I thought it was a success for a first time! I'll be moving to the US soon, but I do hope they'll keep doing meets.

I've been horrendously busy these past two weeks, but it should slow down soon. I'll be going to Brittany from the 15th to the 19th to stay at a friend's house, then I'll be in England the first two weeks of August. I won't be able to check dA at any of those times, so do forgive if I get backlogged on messages in those periods!

Also, do you have any books you'd recommend?

Free at last!!! I had my last oral today (it went horribly as well, so don't ask me about it), but what's important is that my career as a high-schooler is over forever. Goodness, how it feels good!

I have 240 deviations and over 300 messages to wade through, so I'm going to start getting through it all tomorrow. I'm too busy being brainless today (I was able to watch Sefina beat Mauresmo without guilt, incredible experience), watching Harry Potter 2 (in preparation for it coming out on July 15th - if you're a HP fan and want to have a chit chat about it, feel free to message me, I will always be happy to discuss it!!). So I'm back, and I'm looking forward to it.

I will probably be renewing my subscription in the next couple days, simply because I detest the advertisements, and I do want to keep doing features.
